A CARING Redditch youngster has foregone birthday presents to increase donations for his foodbank.

Isaac Winfield started Friends of Isaac’s Food Bank in November 2020 as a pop-up greenhouse on his driveway hoping it will help people struggling over Christmas.

Since then, the CIC has grown and has sheds across five locations dedicated to helping combat food insecurity in the borough.

The food bank also has a team of 15 volunteers who help to run day-to-day activities while Isaac attends school.

For his 13th Birthday, Isaac has decided that he does not want presents for himself, he wants donations to his foodbank, aiming to fill his van.
